Lori is a certified public accountant (CPA), and an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Enrolled Agent, known for her tax planning and preparation services, financial statement reporting, and attestation services.
She has over 27 years of experience in filing client tax returns and representing them before the IRS. Having worked with thousands of clients, Lori is equally versed in individual tax filings in handling bookkeeping and payroll for small businesses.
She founded The Christ Accounting Group in 2001 to deliver individually tailored services that exceed client expectations - from clean record-keeping to taxes, planning, support in entity choice, taxation classifications, tracking expenses, and not overpaying taxes – to ensuring clients always understand their tax situation and options.
Lori holds a B.S. in Business/Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.S. in Taxation from the Washington School of Law. When not working with clients, Lori prides herself on continuing her tax and accounting education. She lives in Sterling with her husband and six children.

Mike is an Enrolled Agent Accountant with over six years of experience in the accounting and taxation field. He earned his Enrolled Agent status from the IRS in 2017, a year before grading from Monmouth University with a Degree in Accounting.
Mike’s focus at The Christ Accounting Group is on small business bookkeeping, business tax returns, and individual tax returns. He is actively progressing towards his CPA certification.
Mike played football for Monmouth Hawks football team.
Matt is an Enrolled Agent with two years of experience in the accounting and taxation field, specializing in small business bookkeeping, individual, and business tax return preparation.
Before joining The Christ Accounting Group, Matt played football for Virginia Tech, where he earned his Accounting degree in 2019.
